Gameplay
Lovely gameplay for a side-scroller. It features standard side-scroller capabilities with really beautifully drawn skills with flashy lights, wow. I was amazed at the graphics for being something so simple yet quite elegant. Skills come in sort of a SilkRoad fashion where you choose your category of skill and rise above its ranks (for example, knuckles sword or lance; along with a side Misc. category). Each category restricts to its own weapon meaning you can only use one weapon super effectively, or distribute them throughout to have a hybrid character.
Each weapon has its own unique characteristics that I enjoyed.
Swords: Slow with moderate range and big damage
Lance: slow with High range and big damage
Dagger: fast with low range and low damage
Bow: medium with long range and medium damage
Staves: .... useless except for spells really
Knuckles: Fast with low range and medium damage
Along with these weapons are the classes.
Warrior: Uses Knuckles, Swords, or Lances. This is your average Warrior class with the biggest DPS.
Knight: Uses Swords, Lances, Shields, Knuckles. Your tanking class.
Magician: Staves Knuckles Daggers, for your magical needs
Traveller: Your rogue-type class that uses Daggers, Bows, Knuckles.
Each class is very versitile and have a unique blend of skill imbued into them to create a very free-of-choice type of feeling.
Overall I really enjoyed this game amoungst the ever-so-flourishing amounts of side-scrolling games coming out these days.
Graphics
Very cute and chibi; wasn't a sore for the eyes. Loved the simplicity and loved the contrasting lights of skills even more.
Sound
Laughable sounds and nice battle-sounds however the music was too high pitched for me. However that's just personal favor.
Controls
A tad disappointing that I could not change the movement controls along with interface controls, but it gives you a list of free keys that you may use in the hot key bar mainly asdfzxcv 1234567890.
Overall!

Reason: I didn't want to get into my MapleStory Mesos craze again... but this game just pulling me back! Wah!
Loved this game... plus it was so cute; defiantly worth the try for the side-scrolling fans.
